Endpoint: Lafkos, Magnisia, Griekenland
If you’re thinking nostalgia isn’t what it used to be, turn your attention to this spot, in the village of Lafkos, 5km east of Milina, to check out the excellent collection of 130 radios, most of which a German Swiss university professor Wilfried Seps has donated, electrician engineer, Greek supporter, who loved Lafkos as a second homeland. Seps pre-digital love affair with the original wireless dates back to 1985 and his collection now stands at more than 2,700 sets. The German professor had one condition before the opening of the museum: that it should bear the name of the artist Antoni Τavanis who he passed away two years before the opening.
